Instruction for Chat use:
1) Let the applet load completely.
2) You will see a chat window that will pop up.
3) You should get a chance to enter a nickname. If you don't, when the chat window starts, just enter the following:
"/nick the nickname you want" (without the quotes), and press Enter.
4) To speak with the people in the chat room, simply enter what you want to say on the line at the bottom and then press Enter.
